Communication skills for the creative media industries-research

To create my TV show I will need to have permission off some certain people and I will need either Ofcom to review the show to see whether the show is appropriate to watch and to air on the TV. This is the sort of stuff that I will need for TV to create:

• Camera operator
• Director for the TV show
• Producers
• Actors
• Assistant director
• Back stage crew people
• make up crew
• Costume crew
• Camera assistant
• Art director

There are many jobs that will be working in the TV show, but these are the jobs that would be more important during the production. The type of genre my TV show is a sci-fi.

Genre
The reason why genre is so important is because it is to give entertainment to the audience and it also gives the audience a type of category that they enjoy watching or listening to. The type of genre for my TV show that I have done is Sci-fi. The most popular sci-fi films and TV shows that are shown to the whole world are ''Terminator'',''Alien'' and obviously there are superhero films for example ''Captain America'',''Deadpool'' and ''Batman v Superman'' etc. The type of TV shows that are popular Sci-fi shows are ''doctor who'', ''Flash'' and ''Arrow'' etc.

Books

 I have borrowed this book from the library which is called television production which was written by Jim Owens. This book has given me a lot of information about making a TV show and telling me the important stuff about making a TV show and what needs to be involved.






This image here is talking about the budget and what they would probably need during a TV production. If you look above there is a list of stuff that would need to be used for TV show and that would be my budget as I will have to pay for the equipment and also the workers who are involved with TV show.

 In this image here it shows how i am going to show my TV show and where it is going to be shown. Well my TV show will be shown on TV as usual, but it can also be shown on people's tablets,phones and ipods. Which gives people the oppurtunity to watch my TV show outside of the house instead of watching the show just on TV.

In this image here it talks abut who your target audience is going to be and what type of people. This TV show will be aimed at people at the age between 16-25, mostly males, who enjoy sci-fi TV shows and they are mostly students that would enjoy this TV show that I have created.

In this image it shows how to plan a TV show by going through the script and working with other people and then showing through TV etc.

 In this question I have asked how many hours do they watch TV and what gender they are. Many people have said 1-3 hours and the gender is even.

In this question I have asked how old they are. People have said between the age of 16 to 18.
